Family Drop-In:
Wednesday from 4 pm to 8:30pm beginning September 25, 2002
Wednesdays are the night when the entire family can come and enjoy the Centre together. The ultimate parent/child competition. Come down and challenge your child to a game of ping-pong or participate in one of our scheduled activities. All of the normal drop-in resources are available, so come down and have some family fun!

Teens Accessing Life skills though Knowledge (T.A.L.K.)
Beginning Wednesday October 2, 2002 from 1 - 4pm (times are subject to be
expanded dependant on size/age of groups)
Attendance by referral. This program focuses on the experiences on teens and younger youth in their lives is an intervention program for the children and youth who may be dealing with negative esteem and motivation issues, have problems at home or at school, who are at risk of dropping out of school, have problems coping with anger, bullying and the like. Program will focus on interpersonal and social skills training, impulse control and empathy. Also included will be tools that youth can use to relax and focus, including an introduction to alternative methods and therapies.

Homework Club:
Monday & Friday from 4 pm to 5:30 pm beginning September 19th, 2002
This program will offer some time every Monday and Friday to any student from Kindergarten to Grade 12 to come down and get some help with their schoolwork. The program will offer motivation in a social setting that will enable youth to gather in a fun and pressure-free atmosphere and do their homework. Activities, supervision and tutoring are all included in this program.
The programs primary focus is to identify problem areas, and to encourage students to complete their assignments on time and to do the best of their abilities. In addition, the program recognizes that some students will have unique issues around homework and will work with them in mind.
